This appears to be a male due to the black facial mask (rather than grey) and is possibly a Golden-winged Warbler x Blue-winged Warbler hybrid (i.e. Brewster's Warbler) based on the near absent throat patch.

I agree with Amber Roth - most definitely a male, and very likely a genetic hybrid. It couldn't accurately be described as a Brewster's Warbler on account of the black eye patch (vs. eye line), but is likely a backcross between a Brewster's Warbler and a Golden-winged Warbler.
