Black-capped Chickadee - Poecile atricapillus

Song: Several calls other than "chick-a-dee-dee-dee". A whistled "here sweetie", with "sweetie" at a lower pitch. Division between final two syllables only audible at close range. Also a gurgly aggressive call known as a "gargle". Flock contact calls (high-pitched "seep seep") are similar to Golden-crowned Kinglet contact call but Golden-crowned Kinglet always has a slight trilling quality to the call.
