Pacific-slope Flycatcher - Empidonax difficilis

Song: High pitched three parted-song "tisp klseewii ptik" or "ps-SEET ptsick seet". First part of the song "tisp" is high and sharp, second syllable "klseewii" is thin and slurred, final "ptik" is explosive ascending in pitch on the second syllable. On average song is higher-pitched and thinner than other Empidonax flycatchers. Calls include a short "tseet" by female, a slurred "tseeweep" and a husky squeaking "wiveet" given by juveniles.
